Welcome to Issue #9 of Survival of the Fitness. This week the emphasize will be on women, as we take a look at how you can get a beautiful body through exercising the right way.
Many women don’t look forward to going to the gym as they are somewhat intimidated or maybe even afraid of the look of some of the women who constantly work out there. You know the type – women who are so muscled up, they look just like men – smaller versions of guys with long hair and lipstick!
There is nothing wrong with these women as they do want to look like bodybuilders. On the other hand, if you ask the majority of women out there how they want to look, chances are “like a bodybuilder” will not be a popular answer.
Women want to look fit – yes, but they don’t want to have all those bulging biceps and veins running up their arms. They also don’t want large bottoms and thighs that are synonymous with the bodybuilder look.
Women want to look svelte and slim. They want to be able to look good in everyday clothes while doing everyday things. This means being able to fit into jeans, work wear, swimwear and dresses well.
And let’s face it – most average guys would really prefer women who are confident and look feminine instead of gals who are muscular and manly.
So how can women get this slim sexy look when all the workouts out there are designed specifically for men? How can a woman look feminine and girly when the workouts that are taught will make her bulky and manly?
